We stand in Christ's presence when we speak; God looks us in the face. We get
what we say straight from God and say it as honestly as we can.
2 Corinthians 2:17
As a speaker, Lisa shares the hope of Christ and upholds God’s truths with warmth, grace and genuine Christian love. At Church retreats, conferences, and events, her audiences are drawn into the heart of God where they are encouraged, affirmed, and challenged to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Through many trials, adversities, and mistakes, Lisa has experienced God’s restorative healing, comfort and grace. She can truly relate to the Apostle Paul when he said that God’s power is made perfect in our weakness. Because of God’s goodness to her, Lisa has given her life to Him in ministry. Her greatest ministry is to the family she adores – her husband and three children
Lisa considers herself an ordinary person who has had the privilege of being used by an extraordinary God. Despite her many imperfections, God has worked through her in a variety of leadership positions in the local church including Director of Children’s Ministries and Director of Sending Ministries. In 2002, Lisa received the Robert and Martha Marble Mission Award for “Outstanding Leadership in Mission Outreach for Christ within Missouri and into the World”. She has worked with orphans in Russia and Africa, spoken at mission training events, and consulted with churches regarding their mission ministries.
To share what God has taught her, Lisa authored the book, “Not Forgotten – Remembering the Last, the Least and the Lost Through Passionate Mission Ministry.” Lisa currently serves as the Mission Team Leader at her home church in Branson, Missouri where she also develops and leads women’s Bible studies.
Watch for her upcoming books, “The Porch light is On – Meditations and Prayers for the Weary Traveler” . . . “Jesus’ Heart in a Broken World” . . . and a Bible study on the book of Ruth.
Speaking Topics
Rise Up
In our daily lives, we’re faced with difficulties, challenges, and temptations that can cause us to feel discouraged, defeated, and sometimes even desperate. All too often we forget 1) the power of God that’s available to us, and 2) that He desires for us to be victorious! He yearns to crown us with beauty instead of ashes; the oil of gladness instead of mourning; a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair; to raise us up as oaks of righteousness – a planting for the display of His splendor. (Isaiah 61) The glory is in the struggle, my friends. Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising again every time we do. As we rise up in the power of God, we bring Him glory.
Through this message, women will:
Learn how to experience the power of God in their daily living through the examples of Joseph, Ruth, and Esther.
Hear what it means to “rise up” and how it starts with us personally.
Be inspired to rise above pain, bitterness, shame, and “past history.”
Be challenged to equip themselves to stand strong against the ongoing influences of our society.
Be comforted by the truth of God’s goodness, patience, mercy, and love for us – and His desire for us to be victorious.
Recognize how our character and faith affect our families . . . individuals influence families; families influence societies; societies influence the world.
Receive fresh reminders of the power of God available to us and how it empowers us to rise above any situation in life to become the women of God He created us to be – women of character with unshakable faith who can resist any temptation and overcome any adversity to ultimately bring Him glory.
*The nature of this presentation offers unique opportunities for a wide variety of testimonies from the women of your church. Testimonies can be built into the presentation naturally and easily and will allow the women at your event to celebrate the power of God at work in the lives of the women around them.

More than Rubies
Through the years women have fought for their rights and for equality. We have burned our bras and down played our femininity. We have worked hard to get out of the home and into the work force. Now many are working hard to get out of the workforce and back into the home. Through changing times, the Word of God and His message for women stand true. With humor, tips for the home, and timeless lessons from the book of Ruth, "More than Rubies" encourages and inspires the hearts of women for their unique roles in life.
Teachings on the book of Esther Rise to Royalty - Reflects on Esther's rise to royalty and how it correlates with each of us as we assume our royal position in the kingdom of God though salvation in Christ.
For Such a Time as This - Examines Esther's journey toward her destiny as heroine of the Jewish nation. As we study Esther's progression from reluctance to courage, inspiration and insight will be found for following God's will and answering His call in our own lives.

Are You Packed Yet?
From the moment a child is born, a smart mom will begin packing her child's trunk. Sound crazy? It's true. A mother's role is to prepare her children to eventually leave home. Packing appropriately is essential so that children can be prepared for the journey ahead. This message offers a glimpse into the contents of that trunk and what a mother needs to be packing into her children's lives.
Life Lessons from the Kitchen
Few things in life are more satisfying than a good, old-fashioned home-cooked meal. In a world of "30-minute meals," microwave ovens, and drive-thru convenience, many of us are spending less and less time in the kitchen. The kitchen is not only a place to find nourishment; it also offers many surprising lessons for life. This presentation serves up lessons on preserving the family, filling our spiritual cupboards, our invitation to God's table, and feasting on the richest of foods - God's Word. We will also share recipes, traditions, and tips for the "heart of the home."
