Mike is the recipient of The Bob Hope Award for Excellence in Entertainment, joining the prestigious roster which includes Oprah Winfrey and Author Stephen Ambrose. His passion is to strengthen families by honoring God and doing it through the power of entertainment using multi-media - interactive "live" presentations.
Mike played professional baseball for the KC Royals as a shortstop, and when asked, "How long did you play?" He smiles and says, "It was a very short stop!" In 2001 he was appointed The United States Ambassador of Patriotism and that same year he and his wife Shari created America's first "Hall of Heroes" inside the Radisson Hotel in Branson, MO. They now have 4 "Halls" located in Branson with countless framed photos and display cases showing military memorabilia from every generation. The Radfords enjoyed performing their hit comedy, “The Remember When Show” in Branson, but after ten years Mike felt a passion to help restore families all over America.
He's written 8 books and produced television shows on every major network. Today in addition producing documentary films, Mike speaks to marriage and family conferences. He says his highest achievement was winning the heart of his wife Shari and being the proud dad of three happy Christ-followers, Melissa, Andrew & Kristin who have blessed them with five grandsons.
